Saturday, November 7, 2015 has been awarding children who participated at the "PEACE POSTERS" contest, edition 2015-2016.
The event which took place at the Europe room, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Prahova, Cuza Voda street, no.8, second floor, is in line with actions taken by the Association LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL and the Association LIONS CLUBS DISTRICT 124 ROMANIA.
It was the day when members of the Lions Club Ploiesti awarded children who participated this year in the "Posters for Peace" contest, organized by Lions Club Ploiesti for the seventh time.
After the jury was given the following awards:
PRIZE I- 1000 RON MARIN ELENA CATALINA, 7 th grade, Rares Voda School, Ploiesti - the picture will participate at national selection, which will be at Sighisoara, 14 November 2015
PRIZE II- 500 RON BIRLIGEA ANDREI, 6 th grade, Constantin Cantacuzino college, Baicoi
PRIZE III- 300 RON SPATARU OVIDIU GEORGE, 8 th grade, Rares Voda School, Ploiesti
SPECIAL MENTION -100 RON RADU ELENA DANIELA, 7 th grade, Rares Voda School, Ploiesti
To encourage children's talent were awarded a total of 11 Certificate of Appreciation for participating in this contest.
Contest "PEACE POSTERS"organized by Lions Club Ploiesti, addressed this year for children aged 11-13 years from the schools and colleges of Ploiesti City and Prahova County.
For the lionistic year 2015-2016 contest theme was "SHARE PEACE". As in all years, the contest was pyramidal, having the club level.
Children received diplomas and gifts from the organizers. Do not forget the teachers who were rewarded with flowers for dedication and passion with guide the small steps of the little artists.
Lions Ploiesti, subscribes to the organization's overall mission: creating and maintaining the purpose of humanitarian aid, a spirit of community among people, through volunteering, through community involvement and international cooperation.
Peace is one of the fundamental values of humanity, which must be preserved and carried on by the next generation represented by the children.
